How to force sync to use .m3u instead of .pla?
« on: December 22, 2013, 01:44:34 am »

Is there any way to force MC to sync to mobile devices (in my case, Galaxy Note 3) using .m3u instead of .pla? I use Neutron Music Player app, which does not recognize .pla files, and having to use playlist translators is no5 nearly as elegant. Also, how can I export .m3u playlist directly onto the device (instead of default folder on the computer) so yhe relative filepath doesn't get screwed up?

For some types of devices, you can pick the playlist format in Options > Handheld.

If the choice isn't offered, it means the driver is deciding.  Mounting as a drive (instead of MTP) might give more flexibility in that case.
