changes tracks before the end

When playing directly from the CD, it keeps on mixing the songs without letting them finish. This happens every ten - twenty seconds so... any suggestions?

Under Settings->Options->Devices try changing your CD-ROM mode (ASPI or IDE) to whichever one it currently ISN'T.

I had mine set to ASPI and I had problems similar to what you describe. When I changed it to IDE, everything worked fine. Not sure if it'll help you, but it's worth a shot. Next Page

Thanx but it didn't work. It is very strange, the problem exists only with cd playback and I have 2 cd drives, and both dont work. It is as if the software thinks the track is coming to an end and then moves to the next song, within 10 seconds. The time period is not fixed, but varies from track to track.
