CD Burner keeps "flashing", will not eject after writing to it

I've upgraded to Beta version 8.0, which fixed the crash at the start of version 7.2, but now, at the end of writing, the light on the CD burner keeps flashing and it doesn't eject until I reboot the computer. Changed settings in the Device Manager to recommended settings, but that didn't make a difference.

Help!

It may take up to several minutes to close the CD after burning.
