Hi,
When I import my library not all the tags are read correctly and I get track names such as (.flac1. When I import the tags from the file name I get several albums where the first or last track is repeated several times.
I do not have this problem in other music players. There are no hidden files in the folders and I have used Tagging software to ensure my library to ensure the tags are correct. This seems to occur with flac files ripped from cd

Any ideas what I am doing wrong or how I can solve this problem?

Solved it by using the removing duplicates function in customize view. Not sure if it has actually solved or just masked the problem. So if anyone has any ideas why these tracks are repeated in the library I would like to know.

Well I don't think removing duplicates was the answer as it messes my best of's any thing where I have an album and singles off that album.

Any ideas?

For one album that has problems (that still exists in your library), select the files in question, and use File > Export Playlist.  Select:

   Format: Text File (CSV delimited)
   Included Fields: All Fields
   Output Range: Selection

Save it to the Desktop, zip it, and attach it in a reply here.

Erm I have exported the text file and I have a very simple question, how to attach a file on this message board?  Below I have cut out some lines from the file showing a few of the repeating tracks and a couple none repeating tracks.

If you don't see Additional Options below your post area, then it might not be enabled for you yet.  You'll have to use Dropbox or some posting site and then you can post the link to the file.

It appears from the entries that you have posted that you have duplicate files (several versions of Oh Mary), but without the entire file I can't be sure.

The additional options doesn't have an attach file option.

Anyway after your comments I took another look in my folders, the problem was with cue files. I cleared my library and rebuilt it with the cue file option unchecked and the repeating files have now gone.

I remember now - this Media Jukebox board does not have attachment rights.
