I would like to test both my hearing and my system.  Does MC generate any test tones?  I can't find anything from a forum search.

Ideally I'd like to be able to generate/play tones of the same volume at any frequency I choose.

As I go up the freq range, and can no longer hear.. then I guess it's either my ears or my speakers.  (it will be my ears that give out first).

If not... it would be a good feature.

Well I can hear up to 14k....  I know my speakers can do up to well past 20k (KEF Reference 205's).

I did not play any tones loud. much lower than music.

If it makes you feel any better, I'm in my 30's and these days I can't hear a whole lot above 15KHz (if I turn it up, I can faintly hear 16KHz).

It doesn't bother me too much because, honestly, there's very little "musical" content above 10KHz.  The highest fundamental note that a conventional orchestra instrument makes is around 5KHz.  There are harmonics of course, but except for a small handful of instruments even the harmonics tend to peter out before 10KHz, and more or less all the harmonics are done by 15KHz (cymbals and violins are the outliers).

That chart always makes me feel better about my lack of upper range
