MC setup for audio network player
« on: October 01, 2014, 11:27:42 pm »

I am playing music with Windows 7 and an audio network player. It is a local wireless network with just two devices - PC and player (no router, internet etc.). It works fine with Push by Windows Media Player and Pull by the network player :)
MC19 works also fine on USB output  :)
I do not succeed that MC streams music to the network player  :(
I tried a lot but cannot find the setup:
- the windows firewall is switched off.
- in MC extras / options the category 'Media Netwok' is not shown that I have no entry for DLNA option with MC
- MC has no other option / entry to stream the music, the network player is online but does not exist for MC
Please can anybody help on MC19 setup to control the audio network player ?
Many thanks, Micki

If you have no "Media Network" item in MC Options, then go to;

Option > General > Features, then make sure that "Media Network (Library Server, DLNA, etc.)" has a tick next to it. Then restart MC to make sure the setting takes effect.

If that was the only problem then set up the Audio Network Player as a DLNA renderer and you should get it working.
