doof

You seem to imply that wjcampbell's question still awaits an answer. I thought that we'd nailed one this time. I was sorta feeling all proud and goose-bumpy for a job well done. Yet another burst bubble. Guess I'll down another beer and sulk over what an unfulfilling retirement I'm having.

there was one i seen like 5-6 months ago, i could not beleave it

I left a message to Matt to remove it, and he did quickly, but there is no telling how many people could have seen it.

you really need to have a question first

What the best way to handle an ingrown toenail?

(Does that qualify?)

Yes, good question

Well the best thing I have found is

1. Cut your toenails with a toenail clipper; do not trim them by ripping them off with your fingers
2. make sure you let them grow past the skin

If you do get one that has just started to get red or hurt, you can try to trim the sides with surgical seizers, and make sure it can grow without digging into the skin, making sure it is free every day.

If puss is coming out, see a doctor before they need to cut your leg off.

Best method I ever saw (and used)

Cut a  \/ notch in the middle of the nail. As it grows it will pull away from the sides of your toe.

It's worked for me.
