I see a number of other Nomad MP3 players listed under supported types, but not the Jukebox Zen.

Does anyone know if the Jukebox Zen (20 GB HDD USB 2) will work with the drivers for the other Nomads?

Are J River working on a driver for this player?

I searched the forums but did not find anything on this.  Thanks.

There is a Plug-in available for the Nomad Zen for MJ from here...

It is for Nomad Jukebox / Zen and is 12th up from the bottom.

You might consider looking at trying Media Center. The new Plug-in for Nomad Zen / Nomad Jukebox supports synchronization which may be helpful for large storage players like Zen / Nomad Jukebox.

Thanks for your response.  Don't know how I missed the reference to Zen in the header.

I just looked at the plug-ins accessed from MJ8 menu bar, and got:-

Is that because I am running MJ8, and it took me somewhere else?

Am I right in thinking Zen support is in both MJ8 and MJ9?  Are there diffrences in functionality in downloading files?  In other words, do I have to go to MJ9 to get better Zen support?
You gave synchronisation as an example.  Guess this is only in MJ9.
But just drag-drop of files, or downloading a playlist are much the same?

Sorry, I must have pasted the wrong link. If you are running MJ 8, definitely get the 3.0.33 plugin.

Zen support is for both MJ8 and MC9. MJ8 will be fine for file transfers, etc, just no synch.  Playlists can be transferred, but it is less automated.
