MC20 Clients failing to play media over internet

I have configured Media Server and nMedium Play on my Lumia is able to access and play media via the internet without any problems. However, my MC20 clients are only able to play media via the local LAN. MC20 clients accessing the library via the internet load the library but fail to play selected media file at "opening".

MC20 on both server and client are up to date.

Can anyone advise me on how to get my MC20 clients to run as smoothly as nMedium Play?
