Portable JRiver Slow?
« on: January 07, 2015, 12:33:21 pm »

Hello everyone,

is portable JRiver 20, slow for you as well? I mean I open a playlist and it takes a few seconds to respond or I choose a song to play or to forward to the next song and again it takes a few seconds to play.

I have installed the latest version of MC 20.0.52.

The stable version of MC has changed to 20.0.59, but the problem persists.

I don't have any 19 version installed at the pc or the portable drive. Also the desktop installation runs without freezing or delays (installed 20.0.61).

Any ideas?

Is there anyone else using the portable version of MC?

Do you have the same problem?

<edit>
I have no antivirus or security software at my PC installed.
The auto-import is off.
I also tested the portable version at my laptop and its slow there as well.
So, I reinstalled 20.0.47.

It's really snappy here.  A mystery.

I've been working through the builds on my PC at the office and it's fine down under my way too.
