Problem with Standard and Theaterview
« on: February 10, 2015, 08:10:47 pm »

Hello,

i create in Standardview in VIDEO two Subcategories called Filme (Movies) and Serien (Series). These two entries i linked to two Folders, one with only Movies and one with Series.

When i go on it it will show me only the correct content, so this all is beautiful. But MC create to the two subcategories another third categorie called "unassigned" that shows the content of all of my folders with mediafiles i imported in MCs database, so i see music and so on. The whole database is shown.
This Subcategorie "unassinged" is also shown in theaterview, gizmo, webgizmo and eos.

My question is, how can i delete this categorie "unassigned". When i do a right click on it, i can choose between three options, delete all entries from database, delete all entries from database and delete files, and another one, but a dont find a way only delete or hide this subcategorie.

Is there a solution?

Thanks a lot

it sounds like in the views for serie and movie you added a file path. which you can do. but to get only the files in the two folders you should go to customize view>set rules for files display, and add something like
filename
starts with
D:\Filme (the location of the files)

hope it helps

Hi,

it works. I wrote new Genres to my Moviefiles and create some rules for them. Now in standard- and theaterview it will only show the correct entry of the folders.

Only with eos/gizmo it didnt work. I create in the settings for gizmo and webgizmo the same rules, but eos shows the unassigned entry again.

But thats ok, i can life with it, in theaterview it looks fine now.  :D

Now it's top.  After a restart of MC20 it shows also in eos correct.
