Importing SACDs, Flacs, & MP3 in Separate Libraries
« on: February 09, 2015, 12:59:41 pm »

I'm new to JRiver and was able to import my SACDs into my library.  Is it possible to import Flacs and MP3s each into separate libraries?  Would there be a better way to accomplish this?

Thanks

You should import everything into the same library, and use library views to separate content if you want to split them up.

The content on the Wiki in this area needs to be re-written and cleaned up.  This is a better page to start with than that one 6233638 linked though:

I set up the view based on file type then artist then album. It works pretty well. One of the issues is, for example, I have an artist named AC/DC. I also have the same artist named AcDc. Any way to associate them to one? Maybe drag and drop on the one I want.

Select all the files you want to change and open the tag editor. (Edit → Tag in the menus, or hit alt+enter on the keyboard)
Then change the album artist as you see fit.
