Weird Reverb

I am running the latest MC20 in WASAPI mode in DSD in POP and, of late, I am getting what sounds like a touch of reverb and echo on all my library as well as a grainy top end. I am using the iFi iDSD and did not have this issue a month ago...I am wondering what I have set wrong??? I do not have any equalization in use. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

The system is pretty simple, a Toshiba Laptop running WIN7 and has a Corei5 processor. The DAC is the iFi iDSD and the speakers are an ancient set of Monsoon desktop speakers.

In addition, the first time an album loads, I get a second or two of static? I am sure I have something set up wrong but heck if I know what.

MC has an option to "play leading silence".

Do you still get it if you use 20.0.63?
