cds not recognized
« on: May 04, 2015, 05:03:56 pm »

I spent part of the day ripping cds (in dbpower) ... all successful except two.  They both seem to rip perfectly to the My Music file in windows ... then copied to my wdmycloudEx2 nas drive file ... then on to the network page in windows, where it is usually picked up by jriver in auto impoRt.  But not with these two.  I tried doing  manual import ru, and it appeared in the import window the software was picking up something.  But nothing new shows in artists or albums.  Do I need to read boot?  What else am I messing up?

THANX very much!!!

They're probably misfiled with "incorrect" metadata.

Making a tagging view would help you find them:

I looked closely and half of all the Metadata had not been written or had disappeared.  I rerip led the first of the two and it looks like it's been ripped but the % icon remains at zero,  a grayed back message says it's not in Accurate very popular Fleetwood Mac album) aand the column next to it displays a code in GREEN.

??

BTW YOU have the best personal photo I have ever seen ... and I am 67!  Congrats!
