Hi,

I have heard good things about JRiver from a friend and wanted to give it a try. I installed it in a windows 8.1 box that is connected to my Peachtree Decco65 via USB. This driver is set to default playback. Foobar2000 plays it fine, Spotify plays it fine, windows media player plays it fine. JRiver can't play it. I go to the Tools/Options/Audio and the device list is showing no items.

Any ideas what is going wrong here?

Try Control Panel > Sounds to confirm that you can play sound there.

Thanks. I missed to mention it but that I mentioned all the other players are playing fine kind of assures that fact. Yes the test from the sound settings does play it.

Normally any device available to Windows will also show up in MC.  I can't explain what you are seeing.  Sorry.

Any over active security programs?

As I said, every other audio application is working fabulously (foobar2000, Spotify, windows media player).
