I had this problem with my old windows 8 tablet and now my current one.  When using j rivers in library mode the music stops when the screen goes blank. My quick solution is to change screen to never turn off, but this doesn't make much sense when not using jrivers.  Is there not a feature in jrivers that when playing music that it keeps the screen on, or better yet keeps playing when the screen turns off?

I'm not sure that's an MC issue.....it sounds like your tablet goes to sleep when the screen turns off. That's how my 8.1 tablet works.

Tools>Options>Audio>Disable display from turning off
