Good evening

Just looking for advice please in breaking the communication link between JRiver MC20, Windows 8.1, and a Denon AVR-890 receiver.

The problem I've never been able to solve is somewhere / something electronically is controlling the volume output.  I've found in the Denon menu all the audyssey setting and turned them off, and in JRiver I have the audio device as the Denon in WASAPI.

Tried in Windows to find the audio card and reset it to default to no luck.

The frustration has led me here to the world of smarter / experienced users.  Please help me take the control back.
