How can I see two different 'music' drives at once?
« on: July 08, 2015, 01:38:11 pm »

I have my music stored on the NAS in two drives: the 'Music' drive has the letter M and the 'OtherMusic' drive has the letter O. In MediaCenter I have two separate libraries, one for Music and one for OtherMusic.

All I can see through diverse network player controls (Gizmo, JRemote, Cambridge Stream Magic, Samsung MultiRoom, etc.)  is the 'Music' drive, and there is no way I can penetrate the fence to get to 'OtherMusic'.

Any ideas?

Sorry, I didn't make myself clear. In MediaCenter I have one library for Music and one library for OtherMusic. So far so good - if I am using MediaCenter itself as the player I can change libraries to get to OtherMusic.

The question comes in playing back remotely (i.e. not through MediaCenter program on my PC). Neither of the remotes (Gizmo or JRemote) give me the option of changing libraries. And the native apps of Samsung, Stream Magic as well as the generic DLNA players don't allow me to see OtherMusic.

Why do you you have two libraries?  You can have everything in one library and just configure your views to control which 'set' you see.
