Skinning help?
« on: August 02, 2015, 07:33:06 am »

Could someone running a Retina screen install this skin...

http://yabb.jriver.com/interact/index.php?topic=49214.msg337057#msg337057

and let me know how it looks?

I am trying to learn my around all the new scaling stuff added to skinning recently, but am working kind of blind as I don't think it's possible for me to test what I'm doing at my end?

Matt, Hendrik, anyone...

Any thoughts on this issue, please?

You should be able to test by picking a bigger size from the size menu.  For example, try 200%.

Thanks Matt,
I've been doing that, trying it at 200%, 300% and 400%.

Does it really look that big on those Retina screens?

Is there any way to stop MC from scaling particular elements? My second link shows the scaling breaking the skin by forcefully adding four black pixels to the right edge of the main frame left and right borders.

A retina screen has a really high resolution.  So it looks scaled normal even though we're actually scaling up when we draw.  If we drew at 100% everything would look shrunk.
