MC 20 upgrade and File Association help

Hi. I just upgraded from MC 19 to MC 20.0.131.
I have 99% flac files and playing them from within MC works fine.
However, most of the time when I try to open a flac file from a folder it won't play.
If I double click it a 2nd time it will play. This never happened in version 19.
Any help will be appreciated.  Using Windows 7 Pro and Xonar Essence STX
