Can MC9.1 read an MC10 libarary?
« on: April 02, 2004, 04:00:57 pm »

I need to revert to v9.1.  My library has been touched by 10.0.104.  Can I just point 9.1 at that library?  Or are there incompatibilities?

Thanks,
Stuart

Thank you imjustagamer.

My library seems to survive me going back and forth between versions.

However, MC9.1 cannot display the "definition" of View Schemes that were set up in MC10.  The text box where the names of the fields that define the scheme should appear is consistently empty in 9.1.

I thought I read a post that said the libraries were not totally interchangeable in later builds of 10. I'm quite possibly mistaken though.

They aren't interchangeable by design.  Some things will work.  Others may not.

I wouldn't recommend going back and forth.
