The latest version of MC10 is here: ftp://ftp.jriver.com/pub/downloads/music/MediaCenter100134.exe

PRICE and UPGRADE info is here:
http://www.musicex.com/mediacenter/purchase.html

10.0.134 (5/11/04)

1. Fixed: Ripping to WMA could freeze if on-the-fly encoding was not enabled.
2. Changed: Updated to latest Monkey's Audio 3.99. (fixes an APL problem, etc.)
3. Fixed: Auto-complete comboboxes for tag editing could list the current value twice in some cases.
4. Fixed: Changing Mini View inactive transparent setting from inside of Mini View wouldn't save the change.
5. Fixed: Encoding options page would hide some options when switching to converter settings, but not unhide them when switching back.
6. NEW: Color controls (brightness, contrast, hue, saturation) have been added to the DVD video properties page.
7. NEW: Added support for SEARCH= in play command line arguments. (works like TREEPATH=, DEVICE=, etc.)
8. Fixed: File Type Info Action Window would flicker when switching files.

OK, you fixed the initial printing problem but when you select print, it doesn't give you an opportunity to print all or just the number of pages you want.  The options is faded for no selection.

Can we get a "Detect" button next to the Write Speed dropdown in  Action Window > Burn CD >  Options > Burn Settings ? ...  Sometimes the max value in that dropdown is lower than the actual max burn speed ... I think it happens after intentionally setting the max speed to a lower setting (ie, I sometimes burn cda a 4x instead of the highest possible, or after burning a cdrw that has a lower max speed than cdr), burning, then going back into the dialog.

hi there,
i guess this will be considered a bug. MC 10 cannot play real audio. I've posted a thread discussing this. (http://yabb.jriver.com/interact/index.php?board=3;action=display;threadid=21382;start=0#msg149252)

hope to see a fix soon.

Thanks,

I don't think that this only happens with the latest version(s), but it seems to be a bug, however:

If i use one of the fields 'Album Type' or 'Complete Album' within a Trackinfo, start playing with this Trackinfo on and then leave MC, it produces a crash.

I've tried this with the 'Dirt Simple' trackinfo. If i use 'TrackInfo_Insert(Complete Album)' within this template, MC crashes when closing it.

APE Fixed!

Matt,

The APE support is working well in this release.
I had problems with the end of selections, ringing, static, etc in the earlier builds.
I used the latest build from the Monkey site to get the standalone version and converted my old 3.97 files to 3.99(4). Either that or the new APE support here took care of the APL issues.

Thanks!

In the Rename Files Using File Properies popup there is a checkbox to Use 'Assorted' for [Artist] on multi-artist albums.  Should this option be available also under Options/File Locations?  If it is I appologize , I have not seen it.

Also, does anyone see the following behavior or is it just me.  I've posted these a few times but nobody else seems to have seen this behavior:

1.  Rip Progress indicator does not reset for each file being ripped.

2.  When ripping a CD, the status column will not autosize to include percentage ripped.  I have the Autosize columns checked under Options\tree & view\list.

Thanks.

My long standing "Can't convert to WMA but can rip to WMA" problem is now fixed. Thanks!

Bug:
When I try to convert a WAV file to MP3, MC crashes every time with a Media Core Error. Highlight file, Tools, Library tools, convert format, vbr custom, start...poof.

Don't know if this is a bug and if it's new or already exists longer time.
In all View schemes only a little part of the vertical scrollbar at the right side of the lower half of the screen is visible. This only occurs when the number of files doesn't exceed the bottom of the screen. That little part disappears when I move the mouse over the lower window.
In the upper half of the screen there is always a vertical scrollbar at the right side of the screen, wether the number of files does or does not exceed the bottom of the window.
