Use with MC
You can add a button in TheaterView to launch Netflix as shown in the Attached Screenshot.  I'd suggest the following switches are used but you can select those to suit you requirements
  • netflixstart : Auto-start the Netflix app when NetflixRemoteController.exe is started for ease of use.
  • netflixquit : Quit the Netflix app when this utility is quit using the shortcut (Ctrl-Alt-Q).
  • stopbuttonquits : Provides you with the ability to Quit the utility with the STOP button on the remote.
  • refreshratemode : Ability to manually change the refresh rate (e.g. to match the playing stream) using the following remote buttons (Original refresh rate will be restored when this utility closes)
         press '2' for 24 Hz
          press '5' for 50 Hz
          press '6' for 60 Hz

History
This is a follow on thread from Another Way To Watch Netflix With a 10 Foot Interface & RC (Win8/10 only) where I had branched a script made by mholgate but I ran into issues with a change in the Netflix Windows App removing the Full Screen Button.  mholgate has now released an update version of his script (fully compiled) and graciously included the tweaks I had made to his original script in his new one so I can now retire mine.

I'm just about to do the Win10 update on my HTPC - can't wait to try this.

There is also an update that toggles Netflix to 5.1 DD+ tracks (I've had to do it manually)

Yeah I noticed that. TBH I tried the remote app and figured it was just as easy to use my wireless keyboard / pointer. To each their own though I suppose :-)

Just found this thread and keen to get it working as part of efforts to simply use of JRiver for the family. I've installed Netflix Remote Controller and configured JRiver as per the picture but am having issues. Selecting "Netflix" from the new Theatre View seems to work with Netflix flashing up for a brief moment before JRiver returns to the front of the screen. Any suggestions as to the solution?

I think you can edit the INI file to map any key you want.  Have a look at his web site and the AVS thread for more info.
