Suggestions for Audio Stream Recording

Occasionally, I would like to record some audio that I find.  Since MC does not have this capability (not since MC17), I have been looking for a program that can do this job.  I tried SoundTap but it has some conflict with MC so that when I tried to play something in MC, I would get the BSOD.   ?

Does anyone have any suggestions as to what program would not have compatibility problems with MC.  I'm running MC19 presently.
