HRT Music Streamer II+
« on: October 30, 2015, 10:25:44 am »

Im trying to connect mac to music streamer ii+ and i get "Playback Problem"
Details:
Playback could not be started on the output "Core Audio" using the format "44.1kHz 2ch".
This output format may not be supported by your hardware. You can use DSP Studio to change the output to a compatible format.
Also make sure that your system has a valid sound playback device and that it is properly configured in playback options.

Macbook Air 2015
HRT Music streamer II+
LFD....
Media Center 21.

When i try in windows working great.

Anybody please.
Thank you.
Cheers,

What was the trick that made it work?

I'm having the same issue with a different external DAC/amp. Really wished you would post what you did to correct the issue.

^ Can you play sounds through the System Preferences > Sound > Sound Effects panel?  The first step is to make sure OS X can talk to the DAC.  Then, once that's working, you can configure JRiver MC to use it for output.

Yep, everything was working fine except for playing audio when using Pono Music. I figured out that I had to change the output sample rate to 96k which is what the DAC operates at I guess.
