Is It Possible to Add Your Own Movie Genres?
« on: April 23, 2016, 02:03:31 am »

I've searched the forums and don't see where anyone has asked this question, looks like the program is using what IMDB lists as the genres! Tks for any help, DN

Yep. Just type the Genre you want to use into the Genre tag, separated by a semi-colon. Any new ones you add will be added to the drop-down list for future use.

For example

Drama; Sport; Apple; Crazy

You won't find Apple and Crazy in your drop-down list, because I added them myself.

MC actually uses The Movie Database for its movie lookups, and that is where a lot of the Genre values would be coming from. I guess they are similar to the IMDB Genres.
