Looks like we're in pretty good shape then.
Because of what has happened at AnyDvd, your biggest Competitive Disadvantage is the inability to playback Blu-ray natively.

For the first time in years I actually bought Cyberlink PowerDVD as a backup!!!! I prefer looking at videos in MC especially since I can apply other enhancements via MC.

Many people want the eye-candy of Kodi, I don't see where that's actually a problem. Kodi is prettier, but after I'm out of the interface - doing what I need to do (watching a video or listening to music)...its over.  I'm watching a movie...not the interface.  I actually turn my monitor off when listening to music and do everything via the remote. Kodi is a major competitor for one reason, many of us in the west are attracted to "ooohh, shiny!!!! ::) :o" syndrome. They like press and play and look pretty while doing it.  JRiver is a techie's dream, but a person that loves convenience - it's their worst nightmare come to life.

I'm going to continue to purchase JRiver due to its audio capabilities....but Roon is hard on its heels now.

Out of these three, if JRiver could natively play BD, it would destroy PowerDVD. Until then, PowerDVD, IMHO is the game changer on the video end, Kodi on the pretty end, and Roon on the audio end.

It's not that simple unfortunately. Being able to playback of BD is very, very expensive as far as I know - like $25,000+ to join and license or something like that, can't recall.

I don't work for JRiver... I help keep the forums safe from "male enhancements" and other sources of sketchy pharmaceuticals.

Beyond the licensing costs, there are a ton of restrictions that would severely limit JRiver's playback options.
I wouldn't want to use a version of JRiver that had to follow their restrictions.

And not to forget, AnyDvd is still around under a new company and so is Passkey from DvdFab. The same options for playing Blu-Ray in MC is still there.

I would appreciate it if you do not speculate about JRiver's responsibilities.
