Loaded up 22.0.21 just moments ago and needed to rebuild thumbnails across several large groups of albums. When I have a view selected - with 450 albums - I select the entire 450 - right click and choose Rebuilt Thumbnails. MC reports a little over 5500 thumbs to update.
MC then responds with it's little dialog midscreen as it begins it's rebuild - counting down updated thumbs as it goes.
But if I change focus and move to another program and leave MC to do it's thing - I switched to Firefox for example - when I come back to MC a few moments later for a status check - the little thumbnail counter dialog is gone and Windows 7 displays it's "I'm thinking" cursor - spinning circle. MC appears greyed out and inaccessible. If I click into the MC UI while this is happening - I get the standard "Media Center 22 is not responding along with the 3 usual choices and this program problem report:

I am uncertain if MC is still updating thumbnails or if the little counter dialog is still active or what - but this sudden loss of focus is troubling.
The only other thing I tried this morning was using one of the new skins (Dark) before kicking off the thumbnail rebuild.
Would appreciate any other reports from the field.
