Just checking Task Manager and I see all these instances of JRWeb.exe - see attachment. This is on a library client, which is not running MC server itself.
My Chrome browser is going nuts duplicating bookmarks all over the place, so I did some digging. Hadn't noticed that many instances of JRWeb.exe before.
Could this be a problem?

Do you have a pile of tabs or something?

In MC? Just 5 tabs.
I was able to End Task on all the JRWeb.exe cases, without any apparent problems in MC.
But after relaunching MC, and connecting to the library server, the tasks are back. I restarted the PC just a few hours ago. About to do it again to see if there is a magic cure.

Every web tab using Chromium will probably spawn about 4 processes or so, thats perfectly normal and just how Chromium works.

Chromium does not interfer with Chrome at all, its an entirely separate thing.

None of the tabs are web tabs. Just different views of my library.

I uninstalled MC22, and then reinstalled it. Connected to the same library server, and opened the same tabs. JRWeb.exe is not running at all right now, which is what I would expect. However, if I restore a library (settings only, and then changing the Media Network Access Key to avoid conflicts) to achieve the same look and feel of MC, as opposed to starting from scratch, I get all those instances of JRWeb.exe running. Not sure what is/was going on.

Problem was solved when Matt pointed out that there was a hidden split view with many tabs on the start page.
And as Hendrik noted that each web tab will spawn 4-5 JRWeb.exes
