Where is the Web Remote plugin?
« on: July 31, 2003, 03:33:41 am »

I just went looking for the Web Remote plugin but it is no longer listed. I want to use my 802.11b PDA as a remote for MC at my up coming BBQ ::)

It was there yesterday for v8. Go to MJ>Tools>Plugin Manager...click on the Interface branch of the tree then click on the Interface Plug-ins Page link.

edit: Whoops...you have MC...in which case it's built in. Look under Tools>Options>Startup Settings and find "Run Remote Server on...". Check that box and pick a port (or leave default alone). Apparently that is all you need to do...haven't tried it personally.

I have and it's great. Should work really well in a PDA environment too.
