Rating in JRemote will close down app on iPad

The last two days, I've kept experiencing that rating will close down the JRemote app on my Ipad. I'm running the latest version of all three. This occurs every second time or so I hit the "Rating" field in the right column. This is rather annoying.
And I suppose JRemote is still the only supported and/or recommended app for running JRiver on an iPad through Apple Extreme? (And AppleTV)?

Is this a bug anyone else is aware of?
