MC22 Getting playlist to run through multiple tracks correctly
« on: October 03, 2016, 02:56:13 am »

Ive just installed latest MC 22 for a trial.
Using it to send music (from ext HD) to wireless speakers via the network (ie streaming).
No problems loading the music, connecting to the wireless speakers, creating a playlist or getting a song to play.

However I do have a problem in getting the playlist to run through.
I get 2 modes - it either
a) plays one song the stops
I have to then manually activate the next song to play

b) lets say playlist is song 1, song 2, song 3 etc
(i) Song 1 plays (no problem)
(ii) then song 2 plays, but the music playing icon, the highlighting of the track and the description of the track and song playing time in the title box next to the menu keys, does not change (still showing previous song 1). The song playing current time position does change, but not the total track time, so you get current position of say 5.15/3.25
(iii)after song 2 finishes, song 2 plays again, but the icons, highlights, title box etc change to show the details of song 2
(iv)after that, song 3 starts, but as for (ii) above
and so on.

And I cant predict whether it will work in mode a) or b)

I have checked all the setup options, repeat off etc, all the right click play now/next etc selections but have not been able to play songs one after another according to the playlist

I deleted MC22 and installed MC21 but no change - still have the same problems.

I saw a similar post earlier in the list, but this did not help me.

Try right clicking on your player in MC's Playing Now pane, and disable SetNext support. And/or also try Ignore Transport Events..

Many thanks

Disabling the SetNext support worked, normal now :-)

Cheers
