Install server on Synology DS410 NAS.
« on: October 23, 2016, 12:15:08 pm »

Stupid Q sorry I did goggle but I couldn't find anything.

Is it possible to install the JRiver server component on my Synology NAS so I can connect devices to it via uPNP?

What do I need to install? Any links?

Many thanks.

I don't think so.  Synology has a customized Linux OS named DSM.  JRiver works on Windows, Mac, Linux (Ubuntu and Debian).

Hi

Synology is ARM based, we can get into root and install all sorts of stuff, it works like any other Linux box.
Regardless is there a MC server based for Linux that clients can connect to? If so can somebody please point me?

Thanks
