'We could not find that license'

Hello everyone .... my name is Fred I'm new to this forum and I've just started using JRiver as a replacement to iTunes.  I love the program but frustrated that I'm unable to register.  I made the purchase and received a license.  When I proceed to register, I get the above message 'we could not find that license', so ... what am I doing wrong?  I'm glad to be here and look forward to being with JRiver for a long time.

Additional info:  Sorry should have included this ...
JRiver version 220039
mac OSX El Capitan

Error when registering:  'There was an error restoring the license'  'We could not find that license'
