I've successfully setup my Id, and it's serving my ethernet-connected Win10 desktop well. I tried to connect via JRemote Android, and it looks like I have.

However, I tested everything by importing a new album using the client software. I forced Auto-import, which worked: I could search for it and play it instantly on the Win10 client, but even a day later, when I search for it in JRemote, it's not there.

Any ideas?

Restart JRemote.

nope. in fact, nothing will play on JRemote, which means, I can't play anything where the actual Id is connected (in my den, where the stereo system is).

Gonna try to download Gizmo and try that, as I go back and forth with these apps...

Just logged into Panel. It's not there either. Hm.

I may not understand what you're doing, but firewalls and other security software can cause problems like this.

What I'm trying to do is play music from the Id as a music server, using my Android smartphone as the interface. I did not have any firewall/security issues when the server was on my Win10 desktop and I was using my Android smartphone as the interface.

I would love some help, if anyone can. I have set up my Id. I can connect via my Win10 desktop (client). I cannot properly connect via JRemote, if anyone's willing to help. I can add a server using the Key, and it seems to connect, but nothing will play: Songs appear there, but will not play, playlists are listed, but empty of any files.
