I've had it for years, but only just opened it, installed it and tried figuring it out. It was fun getting the WiFi working.

Seems that it has MC19, and doing a search for updates just gave me the latest version of MC19.

1) I have a Master Licence; does that mean I can upgrade to MC 20? Any references on how to go about it? Currently, all my other PCs are running MC 22, so I cannot even load their libraries as a client.

2) Is the installation on the SSD hardware specific? I have a lower end NUC, which would be better suited to the job of DLNA renderer, which is what the current Id with MC19 is only good for (but VERY good for - very responsive indeed). I'd like to either put the SSD into another NUC and repurpose the Id into a full Windows 10 machine with the PC version of MC22. Or, if I can buy an Id on a USB stick to load onto my lower end NUC, I would just reformat my original Id to run Windows 10.

I'm going to look around these pages for more information.

Wish I'd read some of the other threads before experimenting by myself and figuring stuff out! I could get the ID USB for $79 for my lower end NUC, but it's running MC22 already on Windows 10, so I might keep it like that, unless I can actually transfer the SSD from the NUC Classic over to the other NUC and have it work flawlessly.

If you want to send the SSD back, we can re-build it.

The Id won't run on all NUC hardware.  Which one do you have?

I am not sure what you mean about rebuilding the SSD.
I did do an update from the text menu. I then had to manually enter my registration key again, which goes to show how early a build I have, as that was one of the first problems reported! Upon reading a bit, I have the suspicion that I might have to do the update from the text menu at least one more time, perhaps a couple of times sequentially.
I'll keep you posted.
