JRiver Media Center has improved support for PonoPlayer
« on: December 27, 2016, 07:04:46 pm »

The new builds of Media Center 22 posted today (22.0.54) have improved support for the PonoPlayer devices.  You can download the latest build for Windows at the top of this thread and the latest build for Mac at the top of this thread.

Am wondering exactly what type of "enhanced support" does it have for the PONO player?  All I saw was the new column (indicating PONO store purchase) and a link to the PONO store (which is still not open).  Anything I missed?  Thanks.

The blue icon and account setup.

Changes are always listed in the build release notes.

For those of us using the Pono World version of Media Center, it would appear that Pono has written an in-house player called Pono Music Vault.  If we want to stay with JRiver product, is there a way for Pono World users to purchase the media center update?  ...at a discount?

  • I used to be indecisive, but now I'm not so sure..

Look at the first post in this thread.

It tells you where you can download the full version of JRiver Media Center. It also provides a discount code for the Pono users.

Can you please provide a new discount code?  I have been trying to install mediacenter and have had trial version.  I was a PMW user.  Prefer to stick with your product.

PONO never really provided good details on how to keep PMW.  That vault software is terrible.

Please help a jriver happy user :) ;D

Thanks!

You may need to set MC to store the art in the file.

The options page has a search window at the bottom.
