Crashes on play attempt
« on: April 13, 2017, 12:01:17 pm »

My JRiver is crashing since updating to MC 22 when I select a particular audio album and press "play" despite the fact that amarra, pure music, and itunes will all play the same audio file.  I am attaching screenshots of the crash error and the first few lines.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks!

What version of macOS/OS X are you using? What exact Media Center 22 for Mac build are you using? Have you tried 22.0.93?

macOS Sierra 10.12.4

MC 22.0.93

I'm gonna attach the first screenshot again, because I don't see it attached to my initial post.

Edited in additional information about the MAC:
MacBook Pro (Retina 13 inch late 2013)
2.8 GHz intel Core i7
16GB 1600 MHz DDR3
Disc Mac HD
Intel Iris 1536 MB

JRiver library is located on a 1TB external SSD

Thanks again.

What type of file is it?
Have you tried turning on logging to capture the internal MC error logs while playing this file?
https://wiki.jriver.com/index.php/Logging

You might try running Analyze Audio on that file and see what happens.
