Again... Thumbnails
« on: July 04, 2003, 02:10:31 pm »

I'm still having problems with displaying thumbnails of my photo images..... Starting with an empty library, I import some images. When switching to thumbnail view, I only get an "MC player icon" for each and every picture with the file name below it. I've had this for a long time already, and got used to it.....

Now I installed MC9 on my laptop also, and.... when importing pictures I get thumbnails immediately (and automatically)...!!!

>>> What am I missing here?  ? ? ?
Any help appreciated!

Thanks for your idea, but my view mode IS automatic already....
Think I'll just skip the photo's and stick to organizing my music with MC, because it's a great program for doing just that.....

I have this problem too, but that's caused by the fact that I've stored my images on a mapped drive (S: in this case). When I start my p.c. this mapping doesn't happen instantly. Have to click it first in the Explorer.

Might be something alike in your case, that is, if you use a mapped drive too

Nope.... no mapped drive either....
I've given up my thumbnails for a while. Going on a vacation, WITH my laptop, WITH thumbnails working fine on it.... Taking along some nice music as well....
