I have added a couple of URL menu items to my Theater View main menu. I use these menu items to view security camera video web pages served live by Blue Iris.

When I click on one of URL menu items in Theater View, it takes about 10 seconds to load, with the interface appearing hung during that time, and sticks for a few seconds when commanded to unload again. Live video is fine once the interface loads. This behavior is the  same whether using Chrome or IE as the web engine. The disk activity light is not lit up during these periods of apparent hanging. I have plenty or DRAM and a pretty fast SSD for the OS.

On the same computer, I've made a desktop Chrome shortcut to the same URL, and it loads in a small fraction of a second, maybe 30x faster than through Theater View.

Any tips, or plans to improve this?

Maybe needless to say, both PCs I tried this on are running 64-bit Win 10 and 64-bit Chrome.
