Linking two DLNA audio players
« on: September 11, 2017, 01:51:53 pm »

I am running MC22 on a RaspberryPI 3 and am trying to link two DLNA sources (two Sonos players in fact). The Wiki states one can simply drag one source onto the other, but that doesn't work in my case. Am I doing something wrong?

In the Left Navigation Pane, find Playing Now.  You'll see your DLNA renderers' names there.  Right click on one and select Link Zone from the menu.

This should work, but it probably won't do what you want.  DLNA zones apparently can't be kept in sync with each other, or with local zones.  I've tried several times and have always had them lose sync.

If synchronization isn't a requirement for you, then this should work for you.
