MC 23 reinstalls when launched.
« on: September 15, 2017, 01:20:04 pm »

I have seen this on several occasions, but don't have many details. OS is Windows 10. When I launch MC 23, by clicking icon in taskbar, MC starts extracting then dnloads something & then proceeds with install wizard. Most recently this happened after a Windows update, but it has happened before & don't remember if it was after an update. I don't remember this behavior with previous releases.

If you have automatic update turned on, there have been a number of updates in quick succession over the last few days, because  64bit version has been released, and a few things have had quick fixes.
