I have just discovered that all my 16bit WMA files won't play anymore. I am not sure how long I have had this problem, but I see a fix for 24 bit WMA files in the latest release notes.

When I try to play a WMA file, I get the error message Something went wrong with playback. All the other file types I have plays fine. Changing from WASAPI to Direct Sound doesn't help. The majority of WMA files I have are 16bit 192kbps files. None of them are DRM protected.

I am on the 64bit version of 23.0.77.

Any advise would be appreciated.

If possible, please share a file that doesn't play to hendrik at jriver dot com, and i'll take a look whats up.
