No...I don't run both at the same time....When I uninstall Norton, Windows wants to run Windows AV....I turn it off then...otherwise it is off when Norton is installed.
This is a computer with hardware less than 1 year old, Windows 10 that is updated, and a fresh install of Win10. Norton AV or no AV at all. No different software than before the crash other than using 64bit MC (this still occurred when I tried 32 Bit MC after the crash) and Bins. Do I need to completely wipe out MC and reinstall? Does it need to be on C drive instead of D drive? I tried everything else that I can think of before posting here. I have no other problems on my PC other than this. The only new software that I am running post crash is "bins 1.5", but I tried to run without this as well with no alleviation of the issue.
My last resort is to uninstall MC and see if I can nuke it from registry and then reinstall unless there is another idea. (memory leak even doesn't sound relevant since no other software is sluggish). Any ideas that I haven't tried?
