Media Center Volume control - please help me

Media Center controlls al my system volume..
ie; i cant hear any other sound while something playing in MC..

how can i change that??

please help me

Media Center has several volume controls.  Click on the speaker icon in the upper left corner.

In addition to what Jim said, click on the speaker icon and select internal volume.

I don't know what the settings are on Mac but it sounds like you have an exclusive audio output selected and want a non-exclusive output.

already did this...but problem still  exists

Ah, I see now.

Go to the Tools menu and choose Options. Once the Options window is open go to Audio And under Audio Device select Device settings...

From there uncheck the Open device with exclusive access box, and press OK.

Ah, I see now.
