Been using JRiver for quite a while and its great but I haven't loaded it up for a few weeks due to circumstances, but a thing I've noticed before and is now happing again is that JRiver seems to be making changes to older music.
What I mean is I keep all my Flac music in a folder on my PC and once its been edited (meta etc )JRiver is set to check this folder on the PC and when any new music is added it alters the gain etc before I then use SyncToy to transfer it across to my server, however occasionally SyncToy when scanning lists a number of files to rewrite, these are older tracks/albums that have been on the PC for a while (its just listed some files which have changed but have been in the folder for over 18 months) is there a reason for it deciding these files need re-scanning and I'm guessing changing the gain etc on them ?
