Can we say Replay gain exclution list ?
« on: June 17, 2003, 05:48:32 pm »

we really need something in media center that we can put in it the album or songs that we dont need to apply replay gain on it and keep it working on the other songs
( coz there is albums that the songs are connected togeather like pink floyd's .. so that with the replay gain makes some tracks higher in volumes than the others )

and maybe the exclude list can contain the DSP effects to exclude too :)
thank you all and keep up with the good work.

You could probably do this pretty easily by adding a custom field to mark which files you don't want analyzed and then modifying the Task -- needs audio analysis smartlist to exclude files using that custom field.

No analyze means no replay gain control?

Oh. No, there is no way to tell RG to dynamically ignore files that have been analyzed.

What I did was use the Zone Manager to setup an alternate playback zone that doesn't have RG turned on, so it's just a simple click to switch for those albums that I don't want to playback with RG.
