Raspberry Pi - JRiver install after buying V24.
« on: March 13, 2018, 05:15:01 pm »

I have upgraded from a registered Windows JRiver ver 23 to a master license so as to use JRiver on my Raspberry Pi which has never had JRiver installed. Upgrade worked fine on my 2 x W10 machines. I downloaded the latest version of JRiver 23 onto the Raspberry as a trial version and then opened the email file. This automatically entered the license code into the validation cell.

Came back with "your license file is for a different product".

Tried twice - each time I lost one of my ten chances to enter code so I don't want to risk loosing further license counts.

Do I have to wait until ver 24 comes out before I can activate it ion the Raspberry as it has no activated download currently?
And can I get my 2 license clicks back?  :)

Make sure you're using 23.0.102.

That was it, thanks. I deleted all Media Center files (22 and 23) to be sure, reloaded latest build and it worked fine.

Thanks again.
