Smartlist - within Range

Create a Smartlist to discover Artist/ Albums, etc.  within a certain range.

I can never remember how to create a smartlist to discover Artist within a certain range:

range of what?

IsRange([Artist], e-r)

for example it starts between E and R first letter

I was hoping to use it for any scenario:

All incomplete Albums, with Artists from A - D

All Artists from A - F, etc.

I has a smartlist created before but I must have lost it.

the solution give below does work...

This Smart List doesn't work.  I'm using thesmart list (incomplete album, with the modification that show only artist from e - r.  i intend to shoerten the list using arguments

a-d
e-f, etc...
but using this argument nothing shows up.
