I have searched , and can't find out why JRiver Media Center will bookmark and resume TV shows, but not DVD files. It plays them fine, and finds images and detail perfectly, and despite that they will not resume. I even tried configuring the bookmark selection in the tag to "yes" instead of "default" to try and force it. The tag even shows a counter for the feature. Yet, when I open a movie, it asks me if I want to Resume, or Start at beginning, but even when selecting Resume starts at the beginning every time. Thanks in advance...

Did you found or solved this issue ?
I'm also noticing the resuming of bookmarked DVD doesn't work anylonger ?
The bookmark is written into the tags, default is tag and 'auto-restart on bookmarking' is on in Options.

Previous versions of 24 also not working.
Latest build of 23 is working.

I have the same problem here. Today, I installed MC 24.0.30 32 bit (Windows 10 PRO x64 - 1709). I was using MC 23 (latest) before.

With MC 23 resume playback of DVDs worked perfectly.

I reinstalled MC 24 (deleting all registry entries) but no change.

DVD ISO with Windows 10 internal ISO/drive simulation.

Last played: never played
Bookmark: 0

General - Behaviour:
Resume... using bookmarks: Automatic

After my first installation of MC 24 I imported the MC23 library incl. settings.

Help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Edit:
I was watching the "Bookmark" entry in the Tag-Editor. A bookmark was created after stop but no matter how I set "Use Bookmarking" (Yes/Default) nothing happens if I start playback again. It always starts with the DVD menu and stays there.

Anyone nailed this topic or syndrom ?

Running latest x64 built, still no resume from bookmark.

Setting is automatic. When applying 'ask' i can select resume from the pop-up but starts from the beginning aswell.
Bookmarks are made, tag info is there.
Tried manually sync with server.
None second stop is applied.

Same problem here.  No resume no matter what I try.

Running 24.0.34 with 64-bit Windows 10 version 1709 build 16299.492 and all drivers current.

This should be fixed in an upcoming build. MC24 saved the wrong value in the bookmark field for DVDs, so loading it also failed. As such any values you have in there now also won't load, but in the future any new DVD bookmarks should function again.
